Default in game real-time guild/alliance recruitment board

since there are so many chapters and maps, population are so wide-spread, there should be an in game real-time world guild/alliance recruitment status board, for player to see currently:

1) which guilds are recruiting
2) which alliance are recruiting guilds
3) how the guilds and alliance are being aligned
4) which are the big guilds and alliances
5) what are the guilds and alliance looking for

benefits:

1) players can easily join in guilds with same interest and do not necessary form another null guild
2) players don't have to run around nowhere to recruit
3) players can then be consolidated more with same interest and create better communities

other arguments for:

1) it is relevant to pve and pvp.
2) it is relevant to the title of guildwars.

argument against:

some people may suggest other forum already have recruitment sections, but they are unofficial and non-real time..and the coverage from the forum only represent a small section of guildwars population.

any thoughts?

Yes, but i think what i suggested somewhere was more appropriated , which was to " merge" all PvP outposts into 1 to help forming parties ( and in addition pug for GvG), instead of having a few players in each outpost, resulting in nothing happening

/signed however

Hmm id say its both gd and bad idea.
Guru has recruiting section which follows ( i believe ) strict rules as in bumping the thread etc.
The actual problem id say isnt it being on forums but the way its advertised within the game.
Many of us will agree that if in an outpost and we get a recruiting come along - often its spammed to the extent where almost everyone in the outpost ignores them. This also leads to us ignoring someone who only advertises once every few mins - when i say ignore i mean the human function of ignoring not the ingame ignore.
You get ppl who go in ( i assume ) every dist and spam ads for a min or 2 then leave - heck ive even seen ppl come in an outpost where i was sole person and watch them spam - they dont even bother checking.
On the other side you have players who get spam whispers from every recruter because they are not in a guild.
The problem is actually bad recruiters who in turn sets the feeling as "all recruiting guilds are spammers so we ignore".

How bloody hard ( scuse language ) is it for someone to wait say 1 min between adverts ?
Why do guild leaders allow their officers/members to spam - end of the day who wants to be in a spammers guild , infact it does make the guild ( no fault of their own ) seem more like a noob guild or one filled by kids.

Question here as its a sort of reply to 2) on arguments for -
When Guildwars prophecies first came out , was there actual guild capabilities because im sure as hell the original concept didnt really have guilds vs other guilds till Factions.
Ab never existed so the alliance concept is out - no idea if gvg was about then.
If any of the veterans can fill us in what things were like from the start it would be usefull.

How would anet have financed doing all the ingame recruiting section - they gave us in party window the ability ( tho often misused ) to have recruiting guilds show under recruiting header ( same for trading and missions/quests ).
Would you like to have sat down and filled in an ingame questionaire just to recruit a few players ? How would recruiting guilds be rated etc - im getting a headache just thinking of part of it.How would new guilds cope - new guild , maybe 2 members and jack in the part of services in hall vs a guild with everything going.
And if said alliance decided that as all members in alliance maxed lux title , it was time to change to kurz and then have to fill out ... you know what i mean.

All this thinking an typing is giving me a headache so im going to leave it there - and let others voice their views

Stuff on this forum or in all chat would similar to what I'd expect with such a feature. Most guilds are either too lazy to tell why their special, what they do, how active they are, or much about their guild's culture. One of the latest recruitment threads just had a link to a site.

I'd rather have a board for non-guild grouping.

once a in-game status board is up, it shows number of players in guild, who are their alliance etc automatically + some guild description written by players.

players don't have to spam it over and over again in nowhere to look for their target audience or guild, but just go to the status board and look for it, this is not about laziness, but to reduce redundancy and repetitive work by players.

there are inefficiencies in forum recruitment sections as I mentioned before, such as there are not many other languages guilds, (eg european, asian) in gwguru, the communities offered by gwguru is limited and not in-game-world-wide, for example if there is a German player want to join an Asian guild because they farm well, and the Asian guild is recruiting, it is very difficult atm to make these 2 parties join together, if they don't visit guru or other forum.

I think a pug board is less favourable, because what on the board would be too scattered as pug are smaller size of groups and the purposes are less consolidated than guilds/alliance.

I wouldn't have something like that just for guilds.

A global contact system would do a lot of good when it comes to making parties and even trading.

All that it needs is a good way to filter it.

This i disagree with.
The alliance my guild runs has members who are not all american but most uses the american servers. We also have a german guild who recently joined us and they wasnt recruited from euro or usa servers. The guilds joined together with no problems and there is no language barrier as the german guild also speaks english.
Ive also had asians, australians, maltese, italian members also in alliance guilds and once again there was no problems joining together.
There are what is known as multi national guilds/alliances within gw - when recruiting you have to remember not everyone uses euro ( hardly anyone i reckon uses euro much these days lol ) or american districts - i can even remember a french speaking canadian getting verbal abuse from ppl in usa district before and the issue was french being spoken and why the person wasnt trying to recruit in french districts or int/euro.
Makes you wonder why no1 said why dont americans go on euro because they speak english .
